Joplin Early Childhood is a preschool facility serving eligible 3-year-olds and 4-year-olds in the Joplin Schools district. With a half-day curriculum that provides a strong foundation for qualifying preschoolers, certified preschool teachers promote learning readiness through developmentally appropriate play with a strong emphasis on building language, motor, social, and independence skills.

Children must be 3-years-old by August 1 to be eligible to attend JEC.
